Construction Process Fiberglass Water Tanks New Braunfels & San Antonio Texas
Fiberglass tanks require an expert construction process and the highest quality of materials in order to eliminate the characteristic flaws of other tanks available. Texas Fiberglass Water Tanks constructs them in a three mold process; walls, pan, and lid. In order to eliminate seam failures the three modules of the tank are formed and assembled in a continuous process, while they are sticky, with twelve inch seams to create a monolithic structure. This process makes the seams up to 75% stronger than the immensely rigid parts; thus eliminating the inherent flaws of other fiberglass tanks in the market.
Each tank is constructed using a three to five ply system depending on the required specifications. By using one or two fiberglass mesh ply sandwiched between two to three roving glass plies they create a cross mesh pattern that provides a structure made to withstand forces and caustic materials that metal tanks succumb to in a short period of time.
